This nickel-mounted French double bass bow was made by by Joseph Thomassin. It is unbranded and weighs 139.5g. It comes with a letter of authenticity from the Cabinet d’Archetiers Experts
This bow is in good condition with light wear to the top of the frog. It has no repairs, and retains its original parts

Stick: brazilwood (Paubrasilia echinata)
Mounts: nickel silver
Pearl: white mother of pearl (Pinctada maxima), ebony (Diospyros spp)
Thumb band: kangaroo leather (Macropus giganteus)
Lapping: silver
Face: bone (Bos indicus)
