François Lotte (1889-1970) is one of the most famous of the Mirecourt bow makers, whose work was prolific and well-respected. He worked in the Bazin workshop and then for Cuniot Hury. He set up his own workshop in 1926 and was later assisted by his son Roger François
This silver-mounted viola bow by François Lotte is in very good condition and retains its original parts
