Double bass bow from the workshop of Prosper Colas, open-trench frog and 'key' type adjuster, 131g
This bow was made in Mirecourt and is unstamped. It is in very good condition with its original parts
The 'key' adjuster is now largely obsolete but was a common feature on early Mirecourt bass bows

Mounts: ebony (Diospyros spp)
Adjuster: brass
Lapping: silk
Face: ivory (Elephantidae spp) original face, fitted pre1975
