This silver-mounted English cello bow was made at the workshops of W. E. Hill & Sons. It is stamped HILL, is in very good condition and weighs 75g

Stick: pernambuco (Paubrasilia echinata)
Mounts: silver, ebony (Diospyros spp)
Pearl: white mother of pearl (Pinctada maxima)
Thumb band: kangaroo leather (Macropus giganteus)
Lapping: whalebone (Balaena spp)
