Silver-mounted English cello bow by Stephen Bristow, 79.5g

Stephen Bristow trained at W. E. Hill & Sons and worked there until 1972. He then worked with John Clutterbuck, another ex-Hills employee, before setting up on his own 

This bow is in very good condition with its original parts

Stick: pernambuco (Paubrasilia echinata)

Mounts: silver, ebony (Diospyros spp)

Pearl: pink/ green abalone (Haliotis spp)

Thumb band: embossed goat leather (Capra hircus)

Lapping: silver

Face: silver
